current updates

Full Send Bike Ranch has changed their name to Shadow Mountain Bike Park. The concerns raised about what “Full Send” means and what this “ranch” represents must have had an impact. Instead of changing our name to “Stop Shadow Mountain Bike Park” we are simply going to be known as “Stop the Bike Park”. We do not support their use of our community's name when so many neighbors oppose the bike park.

Bike Park Community Meeting

Thank you to everyone who attended the virtual community meeting on July 27th. We will be updating this website with the new information we learned in the coming days.

What Is Shadow Mountain Bike Park,
Formerly Known as Full Send Bike Ranch?

The Bike Park will be a 250-acre lift access downhill mountain bike park just West of Conifer on Shadow Mountain Drive and South Warhawk Road.

They are expecting more than 700 downhill and freestyle mountain bikers daily with the potential of more than 500 cars coming to and leaving from the Bike Park on a peak day - this equals 1,000 vehicle trips on Shadow Mountain Drive.

in the news

We have been getting lots of attention from the media lately, take a look and read the stories.

our concerns

We oppose the Bike Park because they plan on developing a pristine meadow into a commercial enterprise putting our mountain, our community, wildlife, and environment at risk.

Truck wrecked

500 cars (going to and home from the Bike Park) of downhill mountain bikers driving daily on residential, windy, narrow, two-lane road with no shoulders and blind turns puts everyone at risk.

Air & Water

The car pollution, human waste, and water needs of adding 700+ mountain bikers daily to the area will have detrimental impacts on existing air quality and neighborhood wells, impacting the ability for existing ground water to recharge itself.

Elk Creek Fire at Work
Emergency Responder Resources

FSBR will only provide on-sight first aid, leaving Elk Creek Fire volunteers to respond to all serious accidents on the property. Elk Creek Fire will also need to respond to all traffic accidents caused by the additional use of Shadow Mountain Drive. The Bike Park will not provide adequate funding to assist Elk Creek Fire, which will reduce response times for all other emergencies in the surrounding area.

The proposed development area is a high risk wildfire area. Adding 700+ people per day will greatly increase this risk. Shadow Mountain Drive will not be able to handle the traffic load in the event of a fire evacuation.

Big horn sheet

The proposed development area is home to many species of wildlife, including some endangered species, as well as their migratory patterns.
